Gateway Chamber Orchestra presents the Masterworks Series: Historic Pairing
The Gateway Chamber Orchestra (GCO) and Clarksville Now are pleased to present, the third performance in the Masterworks Series, Historic Pairing, on Sunday, January 21 in Clarksville and Monday, January 22 in Franklin.
Clint Needham’s high energy Urban Sprawl sets the stage for a memorable anniversary. The GCO tackles Strauss’ daunting score, Le bourgeois gentilhomme, nine years to the week since it first paired Mozart and Strauss in its inaugural installment of its Grammy-nominated “Wind Serenades.”
