Belles Fleurs

Hear from Bonnie Denton, owner and founder of Belles Fleurs Design. Learn more about where her love of floral arrangements came from and how she went from working out of her home to setting up shop in Historic Downtown Franklin.

What is your organization and how/why did you start?

I founded Belles Fleurs in 2008 where I started in my home/garage. I now have a physical location in Historic Downtown Franklin that has only continued to add value to my business.

After 50 years of working in the floral industry, I wanted to focus on my love of weddings and events, where my love of flowers and plants began! I was so fortunate to be a part of wonderful family experience and to this day I look back at some of the best memories of my youth and owe those to where I am now!

Tell us about the events that led up to where your organization is now.

When I took the leap and decided to start my own business, I participated in a bridal show at the Cool Springs Galleria which was featuring a David’s Bridal fashion show. After the show, I was asked to become a ‘preferred vendor’ with David’s Bridal and this began a successful partnership between them and I.

What is unique about your organization, what sets you apart from the rest?

We are specifically wedding and event floral specialists. Our downtown Franklin location is located in a historic home that our clients love to spend time in, seeing all of our unique collections. Clients can come in and actually see what we have and what we do first-hand!

Why did you choose Williamson County to start your business?

I have lived in Williamson County since 1997. In 2000, my husband’s job relocated our family to Alaska where we lived for 4 years. After those 4 years, we decided to come back to Williamson County and have been residents ever since.

We will also be starting classes for different age groups throughout the rest of the year at our downtown location. Fresh arrangements, fall and holiday wreaths, succulent and plant ideas, projects for kids, and much more! Be sure to check out our Social Media for any upcoming dates on those.

Coming up on May 22nd, we will be holding a floral arrangement workshop at Williamson, Inc.’s Women in Business Mixer at Arrington Vineyards! You can surely stop out there and see us as well!
