DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, January 27\, 2024\n10 am – 1 pm\nCost: $10 Adult (ages 13+)\, $8 Child (ages 12-5) Children 4 & under free \nCome to Owl’s Hill for a day of family fun and exploration! Geocaches are hidden in containers that can be found using a GPS or smartphone. Head out on our kid-friendly course set up with caches ready to be found. (We’ll also have a couple more challenging caches for anyone looking for extra adventure.) Hike around in the woods and see what you can find. No experience necessary! \nBring your own GPS device or use your smartphone with Google Maps installed to find the caches. Participants are welcome to bring tradeables (small toys or trinkets) to leave or exchange in caches. \nCheck in between 10 am and 1 pm. Trails are open for geocaching until 3 pm. The gate closes promptly at 3 pm.\nPlanning to bring a picnic? You are welcome to use the picnic tables in our orchard. Please plan to carry out your trash.

DESCRIPTION:Due to the closure of WCPR facilities January 19-21\, we are postponing all currently scheduled performances of The Lightning Thief and rescheduling for January 27-28. \nCustomers who have already purchased tickets will be contacted early next week to transfer their seats into one of the new performances. We will share information about purchasing any remaining tickets as soon as it is available. If you have any questions\, please feel free to contact us at wcpactn@williamsoncounty-tn.gov \nWCPR’s newest theatre group\, Stars to the East\, will present their inaugural production\, The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical in January! These middle and high-school aged actors have been rehearsing in College Grove and will perform at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center in Franklin. \nWith book by Joe Tracz and Music and Lyrics by Rob Rokicki\, this dynamic musical adaptation of Rick Riordan’s bestselling book opened on Broadway in 2019 features a thrilling original rock score and per Time Out New York is an action-packed mythical adventure “worthy of the gods”. As the half-blood son of a Greek god\, Percy Jackson has newly-discovered powers he can’t control\, a destiny he doesn’t want\, and a mythology textbook’s worth of monsters on his trail. When Zeus’s master lightning bolt is stolen and Percy becomes the prime suspect\, he has to find and return the bolt to prove his innocence and prevent a war between the gods. But to succeed on his quest\, Percy will have to do more than catch the thief. He must travel to the Underworld and back; solve the riddle of the Oracle\, which warns him of betrayal by a friend; and come to terms with the father who abandoned him. \nBlandina Vergara-Cruz is the director. \nFour Performances will be at the Williamson County Performing Arts Center in Franklin:\n• Saturday\, January 27\, 2024 – 2pm and 7pm\n• Sunday\, January 28\, 2024 – 2pm and 7pm \nTickets:\n• $15\, available beginning December 1
