DESCRIPTION:March Workshop: Beginning Birding\nSaturday\, March 8\, 8 – 10:30 am\n$20 / person \nAges 14+ (minors must be accompanied by a registered adult)\nGet ready for spring migration with this introduction to bird watching and bird identification. Learn the basics of bird identification by sight and sound using a field guide or digital app. This program will also discuss how to choose and use binoculars and how to share your findings with digital citizen science apps like eBird and iNaturalist. \nBring binoculars! There will also be a limited number of binoculars to borrow. DESCRIPTION:2025 Program Schedule\nSpring: Wednesdays\, March 19 – April 23 Registration opens January 15\nCost: $165 adult / child pair | $125 additional child \nSummer: June 18 & 25\, July 16 & 23 Registration Opens April 15\nCost: $115 adult / child pair | $85 additional child \nAll sessions meet 10-11:30am. \nYoung children\, ages 3-5 years old\, with an adult will explore the natural world through a series of topics lead by an Owl’s Hill Environmental Educator. Each week has a different focus emphasizing working together through discovery\, crafts\, and outdoor exploration. \nNo strollers or unregistered siblings\, please. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. Fees are per adult/child pair for one 4- or 6-week series (spring\, summer\, or fall).
