DESCRIPTION:Exploration of the yoga tradition for kids!\nThis 6 week series is designed to enrich your homeschool curriculum. Deborah will lead your kids age 6-11 through learning yoga postures (asana)\, breath work (pranayma practices) and mindfulness practices. Learning will be done through play\, stories and appropriate repetition over the 6 weeks. Some benefits of adopting a yoga practice include emotional regulation\, self acceptance and deep compassion for others and of course feeling good in the physical body. The Franklin Special District highly values meaningful community partnerships that support our students and families. With this spirit of partnership in mind\, the FSD has partnered with United4Hope to enhance donor and volunteer opportunities for Franklin/Williamson County communities of faith.
