DESCRIPTION:Celebrate NIA Music City’s 5th with a fun mixer\, milestone moments\, and Putt for a Purpose! \nFive years ago\, Network in Action was virtually unknown in Nashville and the surrounding area. Today\, we have four thriving NIAX communities across Nashville\, Brentwood\, Franklin\, and virtually — with nearly 90 professionals who show up for each other every single month. That’s worth celebrating. \nJoin us on July 28 for an afternoon of connection\, community\, and a little friendly competition at The Putting Zone — a fun\, relaxed indoor putting facility in Nashville. No golf experience needed. Putters are available to rent at the venue or feel free to bring your own. \nAbout This Event \nThis is more than a mixer. It marks five years since Shannon McGee launched the first Network In Action franchise in Tennessee — the first NIA group not just in Nashville\, but in the entire state. As the 2025 NIA Community Service Award recipient\, 2024 Franchisee of the Year\, 2023 Brand Ambassador of the Year\, and 2022 Top Gun\, Shannon has built one of the most recognized NIA communities in the country. \nThe George Plaster Show is broadcasting live at the event! George defines local sports conversation\, making this a perfect fit at a venue built around competition\, golf\, and connections. Stop by\, catch the broadcast\, roll a few putts to benefit the Kiwanis Foundation of Nashville\, and enjoy an afternoon that’s much better than being stuck in the rough at another ordinary networking event. \nThis event is open to everyone — members\, prospective members\, past members\, partners\, spouses\, friends\, and fellow professionals. Come and go anytime between 3-5 PM. This is a free event. Registration is required. \nPutt for a Purpose \nFor every round of golf purchased at the venue\, $5 goes directly to the Kiwanis of Nashville Foundation — the philanthropic arm of the Kiwanis Club of Nashville. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time\, supporting organizations right here in Middle Tennessee including Camp Sugar Falls\, Fannie Battle Day Home for Children\, Autism Tennessee\, Junior Achievement of Middle Tennessee\, Rally Foundation\, Andrew Jackson Police Youth Camp\, Raising Resilience Tennessee\, Harvest Hands\, and Stronger Than My Father. \nWe will also be hosting a Longest Putt contest\, with 100% of proceeds benefiting the Kiwanis of Nashville Foundation\, generously sponsored by Tasik Financial Strategies.
