SUMMARY:2024 American Heroes Gala
DESCRIPTION:Annual fundraiser Gala for local veterans nonprofit\, We Are Building Lives. \nWe Are Building Lives is a non-profit serving 11 counties in Middle TN. We are committed to assisting Middle Tennessee’s homeless and at-risk veterans by provide housing\, employment\, transportation\, one-on-one mentoring\, health and psychological care referrals\, and financial education. Our two programs are The Academy\, where we house and rehabilitate up to 11 male veterans\, and Project Advance\, where we provide rent/mortgage/utility assistance to veterans at-risk of becoming homeless. \nOur goal in 2024 is to purchase a second property where we can at least double our housing capacity. We currently have a waitlist for men to join the Academy Program. \nThe 2024 American Heroes Gala is taking place on September 14\, 2024 at Liberty Hall in Franklin\, TN. The evening includes dinner\, drinks\, a silent & live auction\, raffle\, and live entertainment. Dinner provided by Halls Chophouse with entertainment provided by Jim Brown and special guest Gary Chapman. \nWe have an ambitious goal of $200\,000 for this year’s gala. All proceeds will go directly towards the purchase of our second property. \nTickets & Sponsorships are on sale! Visit the event site to learn more!
