Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury raising funds to build neighborhood for 27 local families
Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury (HFHWM) is participating in A Community Thrives—a program supporting community improvement projects with grants up to $100,000.
To qualify for a grant, participating nonprofits must first raise $6,000 in community support before August 12th. With these funds, Habitat for Humanity Williamson-Maury will begin construction on a 27-home neighborhood in Columbia, TN.
Land development will launch this fall and the first 4-6 homes will be constructed in spring of 2023.
Along with donating, Kim Randell, HFHWM Chief Development Office, encourages the community to consider volunteering to build alongside future homeowners. “Thanks to generous supporters, HFHWM has helped hundreds of local families change the trajectory of their lives through the stability of homeownership.”
Now through August 12th, you can help build homes, hope, and community by giving towards HFHWM fundraising challenge goal. All donations must be made through the A Community Thrives link below to count towards the challenge and allow HFHWM to be considered for a grant of up to $100K.
