Healing Housing, a nonprofit residential recovery program serving women with limited resources throughout Middle Tennessee who are healing from addiction, is hosting their 7th annual Love Breakfast fundraiser! The breakfast will be held at The Brentwood United Methodist Church on April 25th from 7:45 – 9:00 a.m. Healing Housing provides a stable home and extensive support services, rooted in love, acceptance and the power of community, to women transitioning from drug and alcohol treatment. We partner with local professionals, agencies and nonprofits to leverage the collective resources of our wonderful community so we can better help women healing from addiction continue to thrive. The women we serve are without financial resources, employment, health insurance or relationships to support them, and the annual Love Breakfast is vital in allowing us to continue this important work.
2023 LOVE BREAKFAST is themed Hand in Hand and will spotlight Healing Housing’s vital relationships as well as those critical to our graduates as they move back into the community. We will examine the bonds that help them—and each one of us—make it through difficult times to find hope and experience growth.
This year promises to be extra special with gifted artist, activist and music therapist Kyshona as the keynote speaker and performer. With a powerful presence, insight as a music therapist, and personal experience working with the women of Healing Housing, Kyshona promises to educate and inspire.
A special documentary will premiere at Hand in Hand, following women as they navigate the challenges and triumphs of life after Healing Housing.
