FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE RSG Gives Back to Host 2026 Charitable Golf Classic to Support Local Families and Strengthen the Community

FRANKLIN, Tenn. — RSG Gives Back, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is proud to announce the 2026 RSG Gives Back Charitable Golf Classic, taking place on Monday, September 21, 2026. The event will bring together business leaders, community members, sponsors, and golfers for a day of competition, fellowship, and philanthropy—all with one purpose: making a meaningful difference in the lives of local individuals and families facing unexpected hardships.
The 2026 RSG Gives Back Charitable Golf Classic is proudly presented by Legacy Tree Foundation, whose generous support is helping make this event possible. RSG Gives Back is deeply grateful for Legacy Tree Foundation’s partnership and shared commitment to serving others. Together, the two organizations are working to bring hope, financial assistance, and practical support to individuals and families throughout Middle Tennessee. Legacy Tree Foundation’s leadership and generosity are helping expand the reach and impact of RSG Gives Back, ensuring that more local families receive the support they need during life’s most difficult seasons.
The mission behind the tournament is best illustrated through the story of one of the many families RSG Gives Back has been honored to help.
In 2022, Retirement Solutions Group surprised Spring Hill kindergarten teacher Brittany Anderson with life-changing news—they would pay her mortgage for an entire year and provide a $1,000 grocery gift card along with a $250 household gift card. Brittany had tragically lost her husband of 10 years in a boating accident, leaving her to raise their two young children, Bennett and Sawyer, on her own.
Brittany was a complete stranger to the team at Retirement Solutions Group. After learning her story, they knew they wanted to help relieve some of the financial burden so Brittany could focus on what mattered most—caring for her children and helping her family heal.
“When we heard Brittany’s story, we knew immediately that she was the one,” said Ryan Moore, founder of RSG Gives Back. “Retirement Solutions Group was honored to play a small part in caring for Brittany so she could spend her energy taking care of her family.”
That single act of generosity became one of many examples of how RSG Gives Back serves individuals and families facing life’s most difficult circumstances. Stories like Brittany’s inspired the creation and continued growth of RSG Gives Back, whose mission is to provide hope, financial assistance, and practical support when families need it most.
For more than six years, RSG Gives Back has quietly served Middle Tennessee by helping families facing unexpected hardships. Now, with its official 501(c)(3) designation, the organization is expanding its mission and inviting the community to become part of something even bigger through the 2026 Charitable Golf Classic.
“This tournament is about much more than golf,” Moore said. “It’s about stepping up when our community needs us most and remaining committed to helping families thrive through adversity. Whether that means covering a year’s worth of housing payments for a single mother, supporting families impacted by terminal illness, or offering a helping hand to someone facing life’s unexpected challenges, every dollar raised allows us to continue making a meaningful difference.”
The Golf Classic will feature:
18 holes of championship golf
Dinner reception
On-course contests and prizes
Networking opportunities with local business leaders
Awards ceremony and celebration
A special benefit concert on the Franklin Golf Club patio with Nashville’s hottest cover band, The Music City Stones cover band will perform a lively mix of fun, upbeat favorites that are sure to get you singing along and dancing. Their setlist features hits from iconic artists such as Tom Petty, Billy Joel, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and the Steve Miller Band, along with classic Motown favorites and other crowd-pleasing songs you know and love.
Funds raised during the tournament will enable RSG Gives Back to continue providing hope and assistance to individuals and families facing financial hardship, unexpected medical challenges, housing insecurity, and other life-changing circumstances throughout Middle Tennessee.
The event also provides local businesses with an opportunity to make a lasting impact while increasing their visibility through event sponsorships. Sponsorship opportunities—including hole sponsorships—offer benefits such as brand recognition, promotional exposure, meaningful community engagement, and the chance to align with a mission that is changing lives across the community.
“We are incredibly thankful to Legacy Tree Foundation for serving as our Presenting Sponsor,” Moore said. “Their generosity reflects a genuine commitment to making a difference in the lives of others. We are honored to partner with an organization that shares our passion for strengthening families, serving our neighbors, and building a more compassionate community.”
“Our commitment to helping others is rooted in the belief that with the right support, families can thrive even through adversity,” Moore added. “This event gives businesses, community leaders, and individuals the opportunity to come together, enjoy a memorable day on the course, and make a lasting impact in the lives of local families.”
RSG Gives Back welcomes golfers of every skill level, sponsors, volunteers, and auction item donors. Whether participating as a foursome, sponsoring the event, donating an auction item, or making a charitable contribution, every act of generosity helps bring hope and support to local families facing hardship.
In addition to fundraising events, RSG Gives Back accepts nominations throughout the year for individuals and families in need. Community members who know someone facing extraordinary hardship are encouraged to submit a nomination through RSGGivesBack.org.
Registration, sponsorship opportunities, nomination information, and donations are available at RSGGivesBack.org.
