Fall and Winter Tennis programs for youth and adults

 

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department (WCPR) offers a variety of tennis programs this fall and winter.

WCPR’s annual Winter Indoor Tennis Contract Lottery will be held virtually this year. The lottery is limited to Williamson County residents (ages 18 and up) only. To be eligible to participate, residents must register online at www.wcparksandrec.com, using Activity Code 17623, beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 10-Friday, August 14 at 12:00 noon. Lottery pre-registration is unlimited; but only one registration is allowed per customer. On Friday, August 14 at 2:00 p.m.; a randomized list will be posted online, and WCPR staff will contact individuals in numerical order to complete lottery contacts. The Winter Indoor Tennis Contract period will run October 19, 2020 – March 28, 2021.

Registration for fall tennis clinics and leagues continues. An assortment of instructional tennis clinics will be held August 17-October 17 for youth and adults players in a variety of skill levels from beginner to advanced. A combination of morning and evening adult Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles leagues will also be offered starting in mid-August.

WCPR’s second tennis tournament of the season, The Big Harpeth Classic, will be held September 25-27. This adult tournament offers singles, doubles and mixed doubles events that will be played on various courts in Brentwood and Franklin. USTA membership is required, and registration is available at www.tennislink.usta.com, keyword Big Harpeth. The deadline to enter is Sunday, September 20.
