About McDonald’s All American Hometown Heroes presented by American Family Insurance

McDonald’s All American Hometown Heroes presented by American Family Insurance will traverse the country recognizing the 24 boys and 24 girls selected to play in the 2018 McDonald’s All American Games. The program consists of a series of presentations honoring each All American in their local community to recognize the impact the player and community have had on each other.

It takes a special talent to be recognized as a McDonald’s All American. Earning that distinction can be an unparalleled source of joy for not only the player, but also for the friends, family and community who have loved, supported and mentored him/her every step of the way. The feeling of representing those who have guided each All American will help support him in his future aspirations, while those in his hometown – young and old – will beam with the pride that, “they are one of ours.”

For 41 years, the McDonald’s All American Games have celebrated the nation’s top high school talent – now the hometown of each of these athletic heroes has the opportunity to join in that celebration.
