Support Local Girl Scouts by Tasting “Outside the Box” Cookie Creations
Williamson County, Tenn. — Supporting Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee (GSMIDTN) has never been easier – or more delicious. On February 11, 2016, GSMIDTN will host the first annual Outside the Box event, a dessert tasting featuring unique renditions of Girl Scout Cookies made by local restauranteurs.
The 2016 event will honor Claire Marshall Crowell; Chief Operating Officer for A. Marshall Family Foods Inc., which includes the Puckett’s family of restaurants, and it will take place at Jackson National Life beginning at 5:30 p.m. Event committee members include Cheri Hammond, Ann Johnson and Rebecca Stillwell.
Girl Scout programs teach Girl Scouts business ethics and goal setting, among other practical skills, and with over five restaurants under her direction, Crowell demonstrates these abilities daily.
“We are excited to honor Claire, and we see her accomplishments as exemplary of the qualities and characteristics that make Girl Scouts prepared leaders,” said GSMIDTN President and CEO Agenia Clark.
Girl Scouting has positively affected the lives of girls across Williamson County, and proceeds from this event will directly benefit the GSMIDTN programs, summer camps and volunteer resources that have made that positive impact possible.
