How has being a part of the overall business community in Williamson County helped you?
When we relocated to Franklin from New York in 2020, we had 12 full-time team members and that number has grown to 48 with 100% of those new hires being local. We have experienced extremely fast revenue growth since moving to Franklin, and we now partner with thousands of national and local clients. Being based in Franklin and the greater Nashville area has been very helpful to our success and growth as a company and the area is a perfect fit for our key values of gratitude, thoughtfulness and hospitality.
Why did you choose to become a member of Williamson, Inc.? How has your membership benefited you?
We’re strong supporters of the Williamson County community and want to be engaged with other local businesses. This was especially important when we moved our headquarters here, so we could build stronger relationships within a local, tight-knit community.
How and why did you first get started with your company? Tell us a little about them.
I spent many years working in sales and client development where I learned the value of strong relationships in creating successful, long-term business partnerships. I learned that having and sharing gratitude was a key element to building those lasting relationships, and there were few good ways to do it and do it well. Thnks is the solution to the challenge I was having on a daily basis and I knew it could help so many others out in the business world. Since 2016 it has been a wonderful, fast-growth journey to where we are today and the future holds great things for this company!
Thnks is a digital gratitude platform empowering business professionals to build better relationships by sharing personalized gestures of appreciation in a thoughtful, efficient way. Our platform is available on the web or through our mobile app and provides a curated catalog of options for people to choose from. Users simply select the Thnks they want to send, enter an email address or phone number of the person they want to send to, add a personalized message, and then send! We’ve made it incredibly streamlined and easy to share a thoughtful gesture with someone that looks good, works well, and requires minimal effort.
Who should take advantage of your services?
From the beginning, we wanted Thnks to be something anybody could use. So we made it free to sign up! We believe so strongly in our platform and in the concept that spreading gratitude with Thnks will provide fantastic results for our users that they’ll keep spreading gratitude and tell others about it. So far, this has been proven true and we have seen tremendous organic growth. We have many sales and client relationship managers who leverage our platform to help them appreciate their prospects and customers, HR professionals and team leaders use Thnks to show appreciation to their employees, and marketers employ Thnks for ABM campaigns, event marketing, and so on. In pretty much any business capacity there are lots of reasons to ‘say thanks’ and we have users every day who do just that. In order to meet the needs of our larger enterprise customers, Thnks has robust analytics for reporting as well as compliance and budget controls for admins to be able to manage Thnks utilization across their teams. We have Pro and Enterprise level plans that provide these enhanced features for a small one-time onboarding cost.
What sets you apart from the rest?
We are on a mission to make gratitude a daily habit in the workplace. At Thnks, we go beyond the idea of corporate gifting to really get to the core of our message to spread gratitude. Each Thnks option is tailored to specific situations or personalized to individual interests. One of our most popular options is the “Thnks a Latte” (a coffee and brownie redeemable at a local coffee shop), but we also offer options like ride shares, cookies, and cocktail kits. We believe that a little gratitude can go a long way, and that’s why we offer a service that makes it easy to send small, frequent and thoughtful gestures that are appreciated in any situation.
