Hill Fine Portraits wins Photographer of the Year award

Hill Fine Portraits Sweeps Awards at TNPPA

Eddie and Connie Hill of Hill Fine Portraits recently attended the 2016 Fall Convention of the Tennessee Professional Photographers Association where they came away with a total of 13 Print Competition awards including the coveted Photographer Of The Year Award. The Hills, known for their beautiful, classic portraits and paintings, entered twelve prints into the competition judged by some of the finest photographers in the nation and had all twelve earn merits. They were also awarded the Presidential Award for the highest scoring image, Best Of Show – Portrait, First Place – Portrait- Female, The Stan Baker First Timer Award, 3 – Judge’s Choice Awards, 3 – Distinguished Awards and based on competition scores, Eddie and Connie were both selected to be in the Top Ten Photographers in Tennessee.
“Print competition is a rigorous and humbling experience that allows our portraits to be critiqued by some of the best photographers in the nation”, Eddie said. “It is important to understand that each of the images we entered were not specifically created for competition, but rather selected from actual portraits our clients have commissioned us to create. Our goal is always to create award winning images for each of our clients”.
