250 DONORS NEEDED FOR 10TH ANNUAL WILLIAMSON COUNTY BATTLE OF THE BADGES 8/16 AND 8/17!
Hi Williamson County! We are desperately needing 250 more donors by this Wednesday for the 10th Annual Willamson County Battle of the Badges on 8/16 and 8/17 at the Brentwood Library. The drive this year is honoring Nolensville Fire Chief and Chief of the Year David Windrow, Ret. Assistant Chief of Police Brentwood Tommy Walsh, and Franklin Fire Captain Scott Mainord. All three of these men are local heroes in our community every single day, and all three of these men are blood recipients! In addition to honoring these community heroes, the Battle is also a Sickle Cell Awareness drive. Those who come in and who identify as African American or Black will receive free sickle cell trait testing.
ALL DONORS who come in to donate will receive a $10 E-gift card to the movie merchant of their choice, and they will receive a $20 Amazon GC. In addition, donors will have a chance to win prizes from drawings and get a free Battle T-shirt!
Our goal is to collect 137 pints on day one. Right now, we have 51 signed up to donate. Our goal is to collect 100 pints on day two, and right now, we have 38 donors signed up. This 2-day drive can help up to 711+ patients!! The drive runs from 6am-6pm on both days! Please go to the direct donor link below and sign up to help save lives this week! Thank you so much Williamson County!!
