Community Blood Drive at CoolSprings Galleria to Help Save Lives

Franklin, TN (July 14, 2025) – Blood Assurance is inviting the community to shop and save lives during a special blood drive at CoolSprings Galleria this Friday, July 18.
The drive will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. inside the mall, in front of the JCPenney common area (1800 Galleria Blvd, Franklin, TN 37067).

Every donor will receive a $20 e-gift card as a thank you for their lifesaving gift. O-negative donors can earn a $25 e-gift card instead!
Just one whole blood donation can help up to three patients in local hospitals. Blood Assurance is the sole supplier of blood products to most of the hospitals in Middle Tennessee, including Williamson Health, so your donation makes a huge impact at the local level!

“Summer is a particularly challenging time for the blood supply,” said Garry Allison, Senior Vice President of Operations for Blood Assurance. “Vacations often keep people from donating, but the need never stops. This is an easy way to make a tremendous impact right here in our community.”

To be eligible to donate blood, you must be at least 17 years old (16 years old with parental consent), weigh 110 pounds or more and be in good health. Donors are asked to drink plenty of fluids — avoiding caffeine — and eat a meal that is rich in iron before donating.
