Improve your mental health in a supportive community setting
Jenny Wise Black and Ground Floor Yoga and Wellbeing have joined together to bring a unique and powerful community experience to actively improve our mental health together!
Join us for our monthly session of UnTherapy.
Guided by Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Jenny Wise Black, UnTherapy is a creative new approach to mental health. In this one hour session, we explore research-based techniques in thoughtful and playful ways. Jenny offers a cozy space for insight, connection and healing…the kind that can only happen in community. Every class is different with some combination of art, play, experiential therapy, solution-focused therapy, Brain Spotting and other interventions allow you to access new resources inside of yourself. Come when you can, with whatever you have and, hopefully, leave with what you need. Register today for our holiday themed classes at GroundFloorYoga.com/events
UnTherapy: Setting the Thanksgiving Table
“A holiday is an opportunity to journey within.”—Prabhas
The holidays can be a time of relationship triggers. This month in UnTherapy, we are using the metaphor of setting the thanksgiving table as we will prepare ourselves for the season. You will learn about “The Other Eight Ways” (based on the Enneagram) to discover and explore some under-used or maybe never used “utensils” at the table of your relationships. Register today for our November 15th class (1:00pm at Ground Floor Yoga in The Factory at Franklin).
UnTherapy in December: A Very Gentle Holiday
“Christmas magic is silent. You don’t hear it—you feel it, you know it, you believe it.”—Kevin Alan Milne
This month, in UnTherapy, we are using the research-based technique of Brain Spotting to access where you hold peace and joy in your body. We will brainstorm ways you can approach this holiday season from this still and impervious place inside of you. Register Here for our December 6th class (1:00pm at Ground Floor Yoga in The Factory at Franklin).
