Local Author Elaine Hume Peake and Don Keith Discuss New Book The Kaboom Boys at the Library
The Special Collections Department of Williamson County Public Library will host local author Elaine Hume Peake and Don Keith as they discuss their latest book The Kaboom Boys on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the Meeting Room at the Main Library.

The Kaboom Boys is a historical fiction novel that offers a cinematic portrayal of bravery and sacrifice during World War II. Based on real events, the story highlights the relentless perseverance of those who served.
Elaine Hume Peake is a celebrated journalist whose career in Miami and New York earned her several prestigious honors, including a George Foster Peabody Award for her coverage of 9/11. She now lives in Tennessee where she writes and produces content for Hedgerow Productions alongside her husband.
Don Keith is a prolific author of over forty books, including the thriller Firing Point, which was adapted into the major motion picture Hunter Killer. Beyond writing, he partners in Fig Tree Media Group and leads the UNTOLD MILLIONS Project, an initiative dedicated to preserving eyewitness historical accounts.
