The Refuge Center for Counseling is Moving Dirt: Site Work begins at Long Lane Property
Nashville, TN: The Refuge Center for Counseling today announced that they are starting to excavate their land located at 4321 Long Lane Franklin, TN 37064. This milestone is a major move for Refuge on its mission to build their own counseling center campus. Refuge will host a ceremony on March 9th at 11am to celebrate this significant event. “To be able to start site work on this property is an incredible milestone for The Refuge Center” says Amy Alexander, CEO at The Refuge Center. “We have been on the journey towards this campus for just over a decade now and we are so thankful our city leaders and every single donor who has been a part of making this day possible. We will do the site work from March through May and then if we can continue to hit fundraising milestones we hope to be able to start the building in June.”
This news comes in the wake of many recent initiatives and accomplishments of the organization, including:
January 2020 Buying and paying in full for the property on Long
December 2021: Raising $2.5 M towards the new campus
December 2022: Raising $3M dollars for a total of $5.5M for the new campus
The new goals of The Refuge Center will now be to:
Raise $700K by May 2023 to begin construction on the building
Raise $2.5M by June 2024 to move into new building
Raise $4M by June 2026 to be debt free
