The Refuge Center Announces 6th Annual Golf Invitational

September 14, 2026, with a 7:00 a.m. start at Westhaven Golf Course in Franklin, Tennessee.
Now in its sixth year, the Invitational brings together golf enthusiasts, community leaders, and supporters of mental health for a day on the greens — raising critical funds for The Refuge Center’s counseling programs. The tournament is one of the primary avenues through which Refuge raises the funds to serve more than 4,000 kids, teens, adults, couples, and families through over 41,000 counseling sessions each year. 99% of those sessions are provided on a sliding scale based on annual income, so everyone has access to the same excellent, accessible, and affordable counseling regardless of socio-economic status. Since opening its doors in 2005, Refuge has provided over 400,000 counseling sessions to the Middle Tennessee community.
The tournament welcomes both individual players and teams, offering a great chance to network with others while supporting mental health services. Participants will enjoy a morning of golf, on-course contests, prizes, and a post-round lunch buffet and awards reception. Sponsorships and tickets are available now at refugecenter.org/golf.
Director of Advancement at Refuge, Brian Williams, adds, “The Refuge Golf Invitational is a unique opportunity to impact thousands of lives while enjoying a day at a premier local course with your friends, colleagues, and other supporters of The Refuge Center and its mission. Every player and sponsor creates access to life-changing therapy delivered by our 70+ therapists,
to over 4,000 clients a year throughout Middle Tennessee.”
