Young Leaders Council Now Accepting Applications for Williamson County Fall 2024 Cohort

Young Leaders Council, (YLC), the premier nonprofit in Middle Tennessee committed to broadening and strengthening Nashville’s volunteer leadership base, has opened applications for its fall training program, which will be facilitated through the Nashville Fall and Williamson County cohorts.

The application window will close at midnight on July 15th, after which YLC will conduct applicant interviews to select the next group of cohort participants across a broad range of business, nonprofit, education, and philanthropic organizations who desire to make a difference in the community.

Since 1985, YLC has remained committed to providing high quality training for diverse, committed individuals to effectively participate on the boards of nonprofit organizations. The 11-week program consists of a series of expert-led training sessions on fundamental board skills, each of which reflects on success indicators such as collaboration and diversity. Training is followed by the completion of a one-year internship with a nonprofit community organization, during which participants serve as non-voting members of the organization’s working board.
