Rotary Club of Brentwood Morning Announces New Officers and End of Year Awards

BRENTWOOD, TN.—Rotary Club of Brentwood Morning announced officers for the new fiscal year beginning July 1, 2023 at their recent breakfast meeting. In addition, outgoing President, Teresa Beard, distributed end of year service awards.

Now in it’s 24th year, the Morning Club is a civic group comprised of local business and community leaders working together to impact the Brentwood and surrounding community, by participating in service projects, resource assistance, partnering with others, and Rotary International.

Receiving the oath of office by Rotarian, Larry Boyd are incoming board members: Teresa Beard, out-going President; George Campbell; Derek Martin; Lynn Tucker; Martin Plumlee, in-coming President; and Rob Aurenheimer.

Receiving the Ed Powers Rotarian of the Year Award: Lynn Tucker.  Lynn has served for many years as the Club’s Treasurer.  Her dedication to financial and operational excellence helps ensure the club continues to serve the community in a meaningful

Receiving the Monty Hines Service Above Self Award: Kirk Bednar.  Kirk’s selfless service to the club includes management of Rotary International Foundation activities, as well as oversight of the Paul Harris Fellowship program for the chapter.  Kirk has been a key member of the Rotary Club of Brentwood Morning for over 10 years.

Meetings are held on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month from 7:00 am-8:00 am at the FiftyForward Martin Center, 960 Heritage Way, Brentwood TN 37027.
