What to Know When Visiting WCS

Visitors to Williamson County schools will need to go through a slightly different process when entering a school building this year. A new visitor check in system was piloted at several schools last year, and based on the success of the pilot, it will be implemented across the district in 25-26.

As always, all visitors will need their driver’s license or photo ID to enter the building. After entering the front office, visitors will stop at the kiosk and click “Visitors” to start the process.

  1. Click “Check In” and take a photo. After taking the photo, click “Close.”
  2. Hold the driver’s license in front of the camera located on the back of the iPad and take a photo. Flip the driver’s license over to scan the bar code.
  3. Select the destination and type the first name of the person they are here to see.
  4. Click “Check In” one final time to print a visitor badge.

Reach out to your child’s school if you have any questions about the visitor procedure.
