About Ann:
Ann has over 15 years’ experience leading accounting and finance teams, for a variety of for profit and non-profit organizations. She has provided consulting and accounting expertise that has resulted in financial success and significant workflow improvements across these organizations. She has a Bachelor of Business Administration from James Madison University. Ann is married with two adult children and resides in Arrington, Tennessee. She enjoys exploring new restaurants, staying active, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
How Ann Serves Our Community:
As Finance Director, Ann Cowden helps ensure Williamson, Inc. operates with accuracy, consistency, and care behind the scenes. She oversees the organization’s financial processes, including billing and internal systems, helping create a strong foundation for the work that supports both the Chamber of Commerce and the Office of Economic Development.
Community Involvement:
She is actively involved in her church, where she serves as a Care Group Leader and volunteers in a variety of roles. As someone relatively new to the community, she enjoys discovering new opportunities to volunteer and build connections.
