Jena Potter, APR
About
Jena Potter relocated from Lexington, Kentucky in 2018 to advance her career in marketing and communications. After volunteering for a year as a Williamson, Inc. Ambassador, she joined the organization as a Marketing and Communications Specialist. Through her leadership and strategic contributions, Jena advanced through the organization and now serves as Vice President of Marketing and Communications.
Jena earned her bachelor’s degree from Eastern Kentucky University. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her beagle, Nemo, discovering new restaurants, and playing mahjong with friends.
Committed to lifelong learning and professional excellence, Jena holds an Accreditation in Public Relations (APR). She is also a graduate of the Tennessee Chamber of Commerce Executives Institute and holds certifications from the American Marketing Association as a Professional Certified Marketer (PCM) and from the Digital Marketing Institute as a Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP).
How Jena Serves Our Community
As Vice President of Marketing and Communications, Jena leads the strategic communications and brand direction for Williamson, Inc., supporting both the Chamber of Commerce and the Office of Economic Development. She oversees the organization’s marketing strategy, messaging, media relations, and digital presence to ensure Williamson, Inc. effectively communicates its impact and the opportunities within Williamson County.
Through her leadership, Jena works to elevate the visibility of the county’s business community, highlight the region’s economic strengths, and connect businesses, community partners, and residents with the resources and initiatives that support a strong local economy. She also works closely with regional media and community leaders to share the story of Williamson County’s economy and the partnerships that continue to shape its future.
